June MAK Tract Update

June 22, 2026 4:54 pm

The HCMUD No. 391 Board of Directors would like to provide an update regarding the buffer area located between the MAK Development construction site and the rear property lines of homes that border the development.

Over the past several weeks, several residents have expressed concerns regarding excessive vegetation growth in this area. In response to these concerns, the District contacted MAK Development and requested that the area be maintained on a regular basis throughout the construction period to prevent excessive overgrowth and nuisance conditions.

MAK Development has advised the District of the following:

  • The construction fence was expected to be removed in June as final grading activities were completed. Due to weather-related delays, removal of the fence is currently anticipated sometime in July.
  • A maintenance crew has been scheduled to clean up vegetation between the existing homeowner property lines and the construction fence. Maintenance activities are in progress and weather permitting, expected to be completed very soon.
  • Following completion of final grading, development plans include landscaping, irrigation, sidewalks, and other improvements within the planned 30-foot buffer area between the communities.

The District appreciates the residents who have brought these concerns forward and will continue to communicate with MAK Development regarding the condition and maintenance of this area. We will also continue to advocate for regular upkeep throughout the remaining construction period.

Thank you for your patience as development activities continue adjacent to our community. The Board remains committed to protecting the interests of HCMUD 391 residents and ensuring that concerns are communicated promptly and professionally to the appropriate parties.
